[Owl Dude] RIP Adam West!

Hello. This is a prerecorded message from AUSTEN CLARK. If you are hearing this message, you have either accidentally stumbled onto my deviantART page or you are one of my Watchers wondering where I went. Well aren't you a nosy sonuv'a fish? Currently I am working on illustrating the sequel to BROWN BEAR AND TWINKLE STAR, set to publish sometime in the near future. Since I am working on a book, I will not be on deviantART as much as I normally am. However, before I left I have finished work on a number of CLARKTOON projects that will be released onto this site automatically each Friday. Most heroes are immortal. Some literally, others in spirit and memory. One hero who will be immortal in spirit and memory is Adam West. He was the first memorable Batman to dawn the cape and cowl back in the 60s. The Batman show was crazy and over the top, and leading it all was West. He was suave, smooth, polite, and always had an answer on his utility belt. If anything he had more in common with James Bond then he did the Dark Knight. Yet you never doubted for a second that he WAS The Batman. Had it not been for him, I truly think the superhero genre wouldn't be what is it today.

In honor of this fallen hero, I have drawn this picture. In fact, I've drawn it multiple times. It was truly a pain in the butt to draw, but it was worth it in the end. My parody of the superhero genre Owl Dude pays tribute to the Bright Knight by remembering one of the goofiest moments of the show.
