Villa's First Birthday

Hey there people of today and robots of tomorrow!

It's me, CK!

Once again I'm at a point in my life where I'm trying to get things done off my list of things to draw. So far this includes two arttrades, two forgotten prizes, three or four comics, and other various scribbles and doodles not including any future Weekly Adventure. So now here I am trying to get stuff done, specifically on a deadline before Valentine's Day. You see, right now I have a bunch of ideas concerning the monsters and I need to get them done ASAP to meet this deadline. One of them is a yet unpaid arttrade with my bud Fantasynarium. She had previously drawn me a great picture of Pizza Monster taking his family and friends to Ice Cream City in Tokyo, Japan. After a lot of convincing, she told me what she wanted to draw back.

I'd tell you what it was, but that would be spoiling things.

So for now, I'm just giving you guys previews. This is the first of three. The picture explores the relationship of Villa and her sister Samoa the s'more monster. I figured Samoa is at least one year older than her sister, so in this picture she's a two year old kid celebrating her little sister's first birthday party. Their house is decorated, their parents backed the cake, and like any kids they're enjoying every minute. While they'll probably never remember the day, the picture is worth ten memories.

The hardest thing about this picture was deciding what kind of hair Samoa had when she was younger. As you know, she currently has a very unique hairstyle that is very difficult to recreate. After a bunch of sketching, a decided a puff of air would be just fine. So, enjoy and watch out for the next two previews and other Monster pictures coming your way!
